Our product is a rich IDE tool for DNA, which means there is a lot to do with UX and UI. While the IDE is a sophisticated complex product to build by itself, our users are Biologists who aren’t so used to working with CAD tools. We are facilitating a transition in the field of genetic engineering field (called “synthetic biology”), in which these scientists need to use these kinds of tools.
Our tech challenges are UX/UI and also on the server side – building functionalities like source control, sharing, comparison, compilation engine etc.
