The African Refugee Development Center (ARDC) is always looking for qualified Social Workers to assist in their work with Tel Aviv’s refugee and asylum seeker community in the following areas:
Welcome Helpline Support
-Counsel callers in issues related to asylum procedure, health, housing, employment, and education, as well as social and psychological care
-Provide practical and emotional assistance to families living in ARDC’s shelters
-Degree in social work, psychology or related field
-Experience in social service work preferred
The African Refugee Development Center (ARDC) is a non-profit organization founded in 2004 by refugees and Israeli citizens to assist, support, and empower refugees and asylum seekers in Israel. The ARDC seeks to ensure access to basic social services, and to facilitate refugee and asylum seeker integration, self-sufficiency and ownership in matters affecting their lives.
