You will also be given the opportunity to volunteer at one of the unrecognized pre-schools run through social services within the local community. You may also have the opportunity to provide direct assistance to families with children with special needs to help them receive social service benefits.
Interns at Mesila must be able to read, write and speak in both Hebrew and English – volunteering positions are also available for those with limited Hebrew ability.
Founded in 1998, Mesila is a non-profit organization dedicated to combating poverty by raising public awareness about the importance of financial stability and independence among the refugee and migrant worker communities in south Tel Aviv.
