The Research and Support Officer at MASHAV, a division of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will conduct research and analysis of the latest developments, publications and current trends in international development policy, discourse and practice.
The research will focus on the follow issues:
-Financing for development
-Food crisis and agricultural technology
-Effects of the financial crisis
The intern will assist the Director of Evaluation with the following tasks:
-Preparing Terms of Reference (TOR) for evaluations
-Drafting and preparing briefings for specific meetings or visits overseas
-Participating in official meetings.
MASHAV is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring Israel’s international development assistance programs. Programs are implemented in Israel as well as throughout the developing world.
Please note: Israel Government Fellows does not conduct the internship placement process until all participants have been formally accepted.
