The Medical Research Intern will work in a Tel Aviv University laboratory, studying telomeres and telomerase resarch, under Orit Uziel, Ph.D. The intern will assist a graduate student in analyzing the biochemistry and pharmacology of cancer cells and telmere. His or here daily tasks will include:
-Running RNA isolations and related real-time PCR techniques
-Background in Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Oncology, or related field
The lab is located in Beilinson Hospital which is part of the Rabin Medical Center. Since its establishment Rabin Medical Center served as a model for new standards in medical treatment and has been a leader in the use of new technologies while maintaining the highest standards of quality medical and nursing care with personal attention towards the well-being of patients and their families.
