The International Business Development Intern will assist in providing international business development services to Manufacturers Association of Israel member companies. These services include commercial, technological and R&D oriented assistance provided on a daily basis to Israeli companies.
-Organize and coordinate bilateral events, delegations and other activities organized by the division
-Research and compose commercial and technological profiles to actively identify global opportunities for member companies
-Identify companies’ needs and join organization on occasional visits with high level managers of member companies
-Locate, identify and analyze international projects and funding opportunities for the MAI and assist in associated application and proposal processes
-Build, maintain and expand MAI’s social media strategy
-BA in business or finance required
The Manufacturers Association of Israel (MAI) is the representative body of all industrial sectors in Israel: private, public, kibbutz and government industries. It consists of more than 2,000 organizations and industrial factories which are responsible for more than 95% of the industrial production in Israel.
The Division of Foreign Trade & International Relations supports MAI’s activity with a focus on economic foreign policy, International cooperation and trade. The Division advocates the interests of the local industry in terms of foreign trade policy, while at the same time promotes international collaborations and the principles of free trade.
The Division officially represents industry and business positions in Intergovernmental and International Organizations.
