The Southern Europe Department is responsible for coordinating Israel’s diplomatic relations with the countries of Southern Europe (Turkey, Cyprus, Greece, Bulgaria, Romania, Italy, San Marino, Malta, Spain, Portugal and Andorra). The department acts as the bridge between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ directorate in Jerusalem and Israel’s embassies and designated missions in Southern Europe on political, economic, press, academic and cultural affairs related to Israel’s foreign policy.
The fellow will work across the department (and when needed across the Division as well) in assisting the diplomatic team:
