BIRD Foundation is the Israel-US Bi-National Research and Development Foundation, promoting and supporting collaboration between Israeli and American companies developing new technologies and bringing them to market. Established in 1977, to generate mutually beneficial cooperation between private sectors between the 2 countries, the BIRD Foundation also provides funding up to 50% of project development and product commercialization costs. A USA-born intern in this position will support BIRD’s business development activities and will engage in compliance of the data bases of specific industries, researching Israeli and US firms, and assisting in meeting coordination, preparing presentations, and outreach to companies. This is an excellent opportunity for an intern interested in learning about the Israeli ecosystem, discovering how matchmaking activities take place, and working with qualified and experienced people who will serve as her/his mentor.
USA-born interns are required for this position, with excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to focus on the details. A successful intern in this position must have the ability to work in a team environment and equally working alone.
