Endorsed by the Office of the Prime Minister, the Israel Government Fellows (IGF) Program offers outstanding young individuals, aged 22-30, an opportunity to intern in the Israeli Government, or in high-level think tanks looking to influence policy in Israel, and public diplomacy and advocacy organizations.
The program’s duration is ten months and is based in Jerusalem. Alongside their internships, the Fellows attend weekly seminar days on issues of Israeli politics and society, peace and security, relations with the Jewish world and many more. Speakers include leading public and political figures, academics, and other experts in their field. The program also includes tours around the country and Hebrew language instruction. IGF is a top-level program. As such, the application process includes submission of a writing sample and interviews with the program staff, before an admissions decision can be made. Our participants are expected to display outstanding levels of commitment and responsibility and they can expect serious and meaningful work experience in important and influential offices.
Our education program gives participants incomparable access to key figures in Israeli public life and influential opinion-shapers from the media and academia.
This program provides a unique opportunity for aspiring Jewish leaders to acquire new skills while contributing to Israeli politics and society, to learn about Israeli history as well as contemporary Israeli life, and to strengthen their connection to the Jewish state.
